The Management of M/S: Union Commercial Company belongs to the business family who have been involved in business for last 200 years. Our Grand fathers Mr. Mian Haji Taj Mehmood and Mr. Mian Muhammad Bashir were considered as Honest and Trustworthy businessmen in business community. Our present business of Importing and Selling Textile Machinery Components was established by our Chief Executive Mr. Aziz Ahmed in September 1966. In the beginning we were importing and selling mostly Weaving Machine Parts, mostly from Japan and China. In 1978 our Chief Executive visited India and Signed Sole Agency Agreement with some leading manufacturer of Weaving and Spinning Machine components. After Open Door Policy of China, in 1980 our Chief Executive visited China and started direct business with M/S: Shandong Machinery Import & Export Corp. Qingdao for Import of Textile Machinery Components. In 1983 M/S: Shandong Machinery Import & Export Corp. Qingdao, signed Sole Agency Agreement for supplying Textile Machinery Components on Exclusive Basis for Pakistan Territory. In 1984 our Chief Executive signed Sole Agency Contract with M/S: Wonchang Apron Ind. Co. Ltd., Pusan (Korea) for their “Wonchang” Brand Rubber Aprons / Cots and Blower Tape and Endless Belts on Exclusive Basis for Pakistan. In 1988 we signed Sole Agency Agreement with M/S: Sangjin Mactech Co. Ltd., Incheon (Korea) for their “Lion” Brand Ring Travellers. During Igatex Pakistan 2006, the representatives of M/S: Sangjin Mactech Co. Ltd was present at our booth and they introduced their New Product HDM Alphamat Type for High Speed Ring Frames and Longer Life Time. In 2003 we signed Sole Agency Agreement with M/S: PT. Kampung Harapan Plastic, Bandung, Indonesia (which is original based from Taiwan with Taiwan Technology) for their “DJ” Brand Simplex and Ring Bobbins. At present Mr. Muhammad Ali who is Son of Mr. Aziz Ahmed and a Graduate from Textile Institute of Pakistan is controlling affairs of our Organization. Our Main Head Office is in Karachi and Regional office is in Lahore and we hope to increase our Sales Offices in other Textile Based Cities of Pakistan.
