The Pakistani Students Association at the University of Texas at Austin was formed on September 14, 1971. Over the last 25 years, PSA has been involved in a number of social and cultural events which include taking an active role in Prime Ministers Flood Relief Fundraising in 1973, Sitar Concert by Irshad Khan in 1990, Live performance by Alamgir in 1999 and Live World Cup Cricket viewing in 1996 and 1999. With the exception of some lost years from 1978-1980, every year has seen PSA organize various events ranging from sports tournaments, barbecue picnics, musical and culture shows, comedy plays, pool/bowling nights and even donations to non-profit organizations. With the continued support of its members, we hope to continue this tradition of spreading cultural awareness here at UT into the new millenium. PSA recognizes its committees and wishes to thank all the active members who have made and carried PSA through for almost 30 years now.
