The Pakistan Computer Bureau (PCB) was established in 1971 as an Attached Department of the Cabinet Division. In 1999, the Bureau was transferred to Information Technology and Telecommunication Division, Ministry of Science and Technology. In 2000, the Ministry of Information Technology was established & the PCB was attached to it. Mission: To provide quality I.T training, pofessional systems development and advisory services for the implementation of information technology in Government Departments and to lend support to the Ministry of I.T in the implementaion of I.T policy initiatives.
